Bruk Up is a freeform, imaginative. improvisational dance style named after the famous Jamaican dancer who brought the style to Brooklyn in the 90s. Ghost, who has served as a conduit for promoting the style of dance, tells us about what his journey has been like to pioneer Bruk Up in spite of crossing paths with those on more perilous paths. Ghost also brings us into his home and dishes on his inspirations for dance, starting a Bruk Up group with close friends Storyboard P, Boneless and others and growing up in Bed-Stuy.
